ProductWorld 2027

ProductWorld 2027 runs February 9-11, 2027 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, bundled into DeveloperWeek 2027 on one ticket. DevNetwork has published three tiers on the official register page: OPEN at $195, PRO at $785, and PREMIUM at $1,120, all locked through October 8, 2026 (checked 2026-08-24, productworld.co/register). One badge covers the product tracks plus DeveloperWeek’s engineering sessions at the same venue.

Why I read the ProductWorld register page before recommending a ticket

I track product and AI events on the same discipline I use for AI tools I test: only what the vendor prints on the official page counts, everything else is speculation. Third-party guides have been pushing “approximate $700 to $1,300 standard” pricing for ProductWorld 2027 for months. That range doesn’t match anything DevNetwork has actually published. The current OPEN pass is $195. The current PRO is $785. Anyone quoting a wider range is padding out of caution or copying older programs. I read the register page on 2026-08-24 and rewrote this page around the numbers that are on it.

What ProductWorld 2027 actually is

ProductWorld 2027 is the product-management program inside DeveloperWeek 2027, DevNetwork’s umbrella developer event. One registration covers both. The 2027 edition moves to the Santa Clara Convention Center (5001 Great America Parkway) after several years at San Jose McEnery. Same Silicon Valley region, seven miles north. Format is hybrid: in-person plus a live online option, both listed on the same register page.

DevNetwork runs the ProductWorld series annually alongside DeveloperWeek, AI DevSummit, and APIWorld. Past ProductWorld speakers have come from Google, Meta, IBM, Square, Uber, LinkedIn, Slack, Microsoft, Atlassian, and 500-plus other companies. The 2027 speaker list is not yet published. Aggregator sites listing “confirmed 2027 speakers” are guessing off the 2026 program.

The 2027 pass math, straight off the register page

Three passes are live. I pulled these directly on 2026-08-24 (source: productworld.co/register):

PassCurrent price (through Oct 8, 2026)What it covers
OPEN$195Keynotes, OPEN sessions, the Expo, community events Feb 10-11
PRO$785Everything in OPEN plus PRO workshops (Feb 9) and all PRO sessions. Full 3-day access
PREMIUM$1,120Full PRO plus VIP party (Feb 9), VIP lounge, 2-day VIP lunch

The price ladder steps up on five fixed deadlines. Waiting has a specific cost:

Buy byPROPREMIUM
Oct 8, 2026$785$1,120
Dec 3, 2026$940$1,345
Jan 7, 2027$1,175$1,680
Jan 28, 2027$1,250$1,790
Feb 8, 2027$1,410$2,015
Feb 11, 2027$1,565$2,240

DevNetwork lists three standing discounts: 25% off groups of three or more, 30% off students, 30% off government. Those are the only official discount codes I could verify. Treat any other “ProductWorld promo code” floating around as unverified.

The refund policy is strict: no refunds. Ticket transfers to a colleague or credit toward a future DevNetwork conference are the only two options if plans change.

The tracks I would prioritize

ProductWorld 2027 runs six to eight tracks across product management, AI product work, growth, discovery, UX, platform and developer experience, and PM career content. Two are worth planning your day around.

The AI product management track is the reason most senior PMs I know are booking this year. Earlier ProductWorld editions treated AI as one topic among many. The 2027 program gives it its own track with sessions across all three days, and the roadmap topics (evaluation frameworks, hallucination management in production, AI pricing and packaging, AI product analytics) are the specific problems every AI feature ships into.

The Platform and Developer Experience track sits at the intersection of ProductWorld and DeveloperWeek. If you ship developer-facing products or run an internal platform team, the crossover here is where the one-ticket bundle actually earns its keep. Everything else on the program (product strategy, discovery, growth, UX, career) is well-covered by cheaper single-track events like ProductCon.

Getting there

Santa Clara Convention Center is 3 miles from San Jose International (SJC), 30 miles south of San Francisco International (SFO). From SJC, Uber or Lyft runs $10 to $20 and takes 8 to 15 minutes. From SFO, driving takes 35 to 50 minutes; Caltrain from Millbrae to Santa Clara station plus a short ride is 60 to 90 minutes total.

The venue sits next to the Santa Clara Marriott and the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, both walkable. Hilton Santa Clara, Embassy Suites, and Avatar Hotel are all within a mile. DevNetwork usually negotiates room blocks at several of these hotels; the 2027 group codes get published on the conference site closer to the event. February is peak Silicon Valley business travel, and the Santa Clara corridor fills up during major conference weeks. Booking eight to ten weeks out keeps rates near $250 to $300 per night. Last-minute lands closer to $500.

Who this trip is worth for

You should book PRO or PREMIUM if you build AI-powered products and want three days of concentrated content on how other senior product teams are handling evaluation, pricing, and reliability. The AI product management track alone is denser than any equivalent online source I know of. You get to see the DeveloperWeek engineering side of the same problem for free.

You should book if you lead a product organization and are actively evaluating PM tools, AI infrastructure, or analytics platforms. Thousands of senior product and engineering decision-makers concentrated at one venue in Silicon Valley is a compressed vendor-evaluation window. The strategy track sessions plus expo conversations pay back the ticket fast when you have real buying authority.

You should book if you sell PM tools, AI platforms, or developer infrastructure into product and engineering teams. This is one of the strongest US venues to put your product in front of qualified buyers.

You can skip if your interest is academic AI research. NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR will serve you better. You can skip if you want general product awareness without buying intent: free PM content covers that gap. You can also skip if you are very early-stage with no shipped product yet. Ship something first, then come back.

What the DeveloperWeek bundle actually gives you

The single-ticket bundle math is the specific detail most third-party ProductWorld guides get wrong. ProductWorld 2027 plus DeveloperWeek 2027 together typically publish 200-plus sessions across three days at the same venue. At $785 for PRO, cost per session lands below $4 if you use both programs, which puts it below anything in the mid-tier product conference range.

Compare with AI DevSummit at $1,080 for a standard pass, or Mind the Product US at typically $1,200 to $1,800 for a single-track program without an engineering crossover. If you are already going to a large 2027 product event, the ProductWorld plus DeveloperWeek bundle is the cheapest per session by a meaningful margin.

The two decisions worth making before October 8

The first is whether to buy PRO or PREMIUM. If you go for the sessions and expo, PRO covers it. PREMIUM only pays back if the VIP party and lounge access are worth $335 to you, which for most working PMs is a coin toss. The VIP lunch on both days is genuinely useful for having lunch-table conversations with senior product leaders, but the base PRO ticket already includes lunch in the expo hall.

The second is whether to buy before October 8, 2026. The step-up between the Oct 8 tier and the Dec 3 tier is $155 on PRO and $225 on PREMIUM. If you know you are going and know which pass, buying before October 8 is the cheapest window DevNetwork will publish. If you are undecided, the Dec 3 tier is still cheaper than any late-January or February pricing.

ProductWorld 2027 is bookable now for a defensible reason at a defensible price. If you build product, plan to be at DeveloperWeek 2027 anyway, or sell into product buyers, buy the PRO pass before October 8 and put February 12 on your calendar as your Silicon Valley follow-up day.
