Cypher 2026 runs October 7-9, 2026 at KTPO in Whitefield, Bengaluru, the 10th annual edition organized by Analytics India Magazine. AIM expects 5,000-plus attendees, 150-plus speakers, and 100-plus exhibitors across 12 tracks including AI for India (checked 2026-08-24, cypher.analyticsindiamag.com). Early bird closed August 7. Standard is now ₹13,000, Learning ₹25,000, VIP ₹35,000. Analytics India Magazine has not published a confirmed keynote list.
I track AI conferences the way I track AI tool deals: by asking whether the ticket buys something you cannot get from a YouTube recap two weeks later. Most vendor-heavy tech conferences fail that test. Cypher is the exception I want to argue for. It is India-specific in a way US and European AI conferences never are, and that is the whole point of writing this post.
Cypher 2026 was built for the Indian AI buyer, not adapted for one
Cypher has run every year since 2015. The 2026 edition is the 10th, which is the first thing worth naming, because most India AI conferences do not survive past year three. Analytics India Magazine has built the event around India’s data science and AI community specifically, not a generic global tech audience. The 2026 track list makes that concrete: alongside Generative AI, Enterprise AI, AI Agents, MLOps, Responsible AI, AI Infrastructure, Computer Vision, Frontier Models, Open Source, Robotics, and AI Safety, there is a track named plainly AI for India.
That last track is why I care about Cypher. Indian AI buyers face a different cost equation than teams in San Francisco. Fewer enterprise budgets, more rupee-conscious procurement, real appetite for sovereign or India-built alternatives to US foundation model vendors. That is a hard conversation to have at a global AI summit where the frame is “which cloud, which frontier lab”. Cypher gives that conversation a stage.
Analytics India Magazine’s own attendee data reads honestly: 60%-plus of attendees are directly responsible for AI adoption at their organization, with roughly 35% C-suite and VPs, 25% senior engineers, and 25% founders (checked 2026-08-24, cypher.analyticsindiamag.com/sponsors). A high-intent room, not a badge-scanning crowd.
Dates, venue, and scale
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Event | Cypher 2026 |
| Dates | October 7-9, 2026 |
| Venue | KTPO, Whitefield, Bengaluru, India |
| Edition | 10th annual (since 2015) |
| Organizer | Analytics India Magazine (AIM Media House) |
| Scale | 5,000-plus attendees, 150-plus speakers, 100-plus exhibitors, 25-plus countries |
| Official site | cypher.analyticsindiamag.com |
KTPO sits in Whitefield, on the eastern edge of Bengaluru’s tech corridor. Kempegowda International Airport handles the flight side. For domestic attendees from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, or Hyderabad, same-day travel to Whitefield is realistic. Early October falls after monsoon and before the November-December wedding-season flight-price spike, which matters more than most conference guides acknowledge.
Confirmed Cypher 2026 speakers are operators, not the conference circuit
AIM has not published a dedicated keynote list at the time of writing, which is worth stating plainly rather than papering over. What is confirmed is a working list of practitioners running real AI, data, and technology functions at named Indian companies.
| Speaker | Role |
|---|---|
| Sanjay Mohan | Group CTO, MakeMyTrip |
| Mridul Sharma | Chief Technology and Operating Officer, Jio Credit Limited |
| Jagadeesh Ramasamy | CIO and CDO, Narayana Health |
| Boris Levine | Global CTO, StoneX Group |
| Sravanth Aluru | CEO and Co-Founder, Avataar |
| Amit Sheth | Founding Director, Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO) |
Names above are pulled from the confirmed 2026 speaker roster on the official site (checked 2026-08-24). A Group CTO from MakeMyTrip and a CIO from a major hospital network are people making production AI decisions, not conference-circuit regulars repeating the same deck across five events.
What the 12-track agenda covers
The Cypher 2026 program spans 50-plus sessions across three days, split across 12 tracks: Generative AI, Enterprise AI, AI Agents, MLOps, Responsible AI, AI Infrastructure, Computer Vision, AI for India, Frontier Models, Open Source, Robotics, and AI Safety.
Putting Enterprise AI and AI Agents next to Responsible AI and AI Safety on the same agenda tells you the organizers see production deployment and governance as connected problems. Indian enterprises adopting agents at scale are hitting governance and safety questions in real time. Splitting those into separate mini-conferences would misrepresent how the work actually happens.
AI for India is the track worth flying in for if your business operates in the Indian market. Sovereign foundation model options, India-specific data residency and compliance, localization for Indian languages and consumer markets: these never come up at a Bay Area AI conference. Cypher 2026 gives them a whole day.
Cypher 2026 ticket math after early bird closed
Early bird ended August 7, 2026. Regular pricing is now live. I am flagging this at the top because most third-party guides quoting Cypher 2026 pricing are still showing the ₹10,000 early-bird figure, which is no longer bookable.
| Ticket | Price (regular) | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Pass | ₹13,000 | Talks, expo, 3-day lunch, goodies bag |
| Learning Pass | ₹25,000 | Standard, plus evening 3-hour workshops daily, participation certificate, post-event recordings |
| VIP Pass | ₹35,000 | Learning, plus WhatsApp support, VIP check-in, front-row seating, lounge, priority lunch, 1-year AIM digital subscription, mixer invitations |
Prices confirmed on the official ticket page (checked 2026-08-24, cypher.analyticsindiamag.com/tickets). Add-ons appear separately: AIDP Program Exam ₹25,000, Speakers’ Mixer ₹6,000, Cypher Almanac ₹6,000. Group and student passes are referenced on the official site but the specific discounted rates were not published on the pricing page at the time of writing.
No StackVerdict discount code exists for Cypher 2026. Cypher has not published a partner discount program, and I am not going to invent a code just to make this guide look more useful than it is.
The Learning pass at ₹25,000 is the one I would upgrade to for a working practitioner. The evening workshops and post-event recordings turn three days on the ground into learning you can keep pulling from for weeks after. The VIP tier is for people whose networking access matters more than the sessions themselves, which is a real category, just not the majority category.
My buy-or-skip framing for Cypher 2026
Buy the Learning pass if you can name two of the 12 tracks you would apply next quarter and your organization is paying. Buy the Standard pass if budget is tight and you want the talks and the expo. Wait if you need a confirmed keynote list before your finance team will approve the trip, since keynotes should firm up closer to the event.
The information gaps at Cypher 2026 are honest: no confirmed keynote list, no detailed day-by-day schedule, no firm group discount terms. None of that is disqualifying for a 10th-edition event with a decade of execution behind it. It does mean you are booking on scale and track structure, not on the promise of a specific headline name.
For Indian enterprise AI leaders, data science practitioners, and founders building AI products for the Indian market specifically, this is one of the stronger regional AI conferences on the calendar. A ₹13,000 entry point for a 5,000-attendee, 150-speaker conference remains accessible by global standards, where a comparable US or European event like Databricks Data + AI Summit routinely runs into the thousands of dollars before travel.
Other ways into Cypher 2026 if you run an AI company
The AI Expo runs across three halls with 100-plus exhibitors. Entry-level exhibit is a 1m x 1m Expo Pod at ₹2,00,000 plus 18% GST, which includes a front table, power, two 3-day passes, an expo microsite listing, and lead-retrieval access. Larger formats up to a 12m x 6m presenting booth are quoted as custom packages. Confirmed 2026 sponsors include Genpact, Neysa, Tredence, and ClickHouse. Booths go first-come, first-served through [email protected] or the official expo page.
The Minsky Awards for Excellence in AI ran their first edition in 2025 and return in 2026 with 36 categories across seven pillars, from AI Startup of the Year to CTO of the Year and AI for Social Impact. The 2026 nomination deadline is September 9, 2026 (checked 2026-08-24). Entries are judged on innovation, impact, and quality. If your team shipped something real this year, a Minsky nomination is a cheaper credibility play than a booth. Submit through the official Minsky Awards page.
One gap I could not close: there is no open public call-for-speakers form for 2026. The 150-plus speaker slots appear invite-led, with inquiries routed through [email protected] rather than a submission portal. If you want a stage, approach the organizer directly and early rather than waiting for a form that may never open.
For other AI conferences worth planning around, browse the AI events hub and the AI tools I have tested for enterprise and technical teams so the Enterprise AI and AI Agents sessions land with more context.
